You help me the most so I wanted to ask your opinion on this. I checked tiger BG yesterday and he was consistently around 175 all day and again this morning. He has a viral upper respiratory going on so I wasn't sure if that is raising his bg and if I should be giving any insulin for this bg range or wait till he's better and see if it resolves on its own.

I would see how he does as he improves, give him a day or two more. But if he continues to drift up, you might want to restart insulin.
