Hi there,
Feeling encouraged a few days ago and not so encouraged today with these numbers. She does seem to be feeling better though...acting more like herself.
My question is regarding food. The vet told me to feed her 3/4 large can of DM every 12 hours and 2T dry DM in between feedings for her to snack on...obviously, I have started to go "Rogue" and am not taking that advice. I have been trying different recommended brands of cat food...unfortunately her favorite is still FF Classics, but I do keep trying others. (BTW...she hates the DM cat food and we are NOT doing dry per the recommendations of this group.)
I am feeding her 1 small can in the a.m. before her shot and 1 small can p.m. before the shot. She does not always finish the portion...She prefers small meals throughout the day. I have been giving her a small snack of the tiki cat mouse which is supposed to be zero carbs and she likes it. Am I doing this right??? Her numbers are high still, so any help with food would be great...
Thank you!!!
