I decided to stay with 1 unit since she was still in the 300's. I'm having a hard time getting the carafate in her. I try to just put the syringe in the side of her mouth & squirt a little at a time but she just spits it out & fights me. I have never been able to get liquids in her. Wendy, where do you get your gel caps?

I had been buying them from capsuline.com, but found some recently on eBay that I'm trying that are much cheaper. They have a variety of sizes, but #3 is usually what is recommended for most cats. This is a link to the store I just purchased from recently: http://tinyurl.com/3ncknss. For carafate since the tablets are a larger size, I'd recommend trying a #2 as they are slightly larger but still not too big. I ordered on Sunday and they already sent out a ship notice, but they seem pretty prompt. They also combined shipping for me since I ordered two packages of capsules in various sizes.

shot .8

I never know what she's gonna do so I waited 10 mins to make sure she was going up. Since she was so much lower for PMPS I decided to try the .8 hopefully it will be a good choice!

I like the .8 choice! It looks like she is doing better--maybe her pancreas has decided to help a little.

Wendy, thanks for the link. I just ordered some & they were cheap!

You're welcome, Barbara! Much better price than I've seen elsewhere. I use them all the time for pill slivers. Shaikha takes several meds that are very bitter, so without them I couldn't pill her. Flagyl tastes awful, as does zantac. The gelcaps also ensure those tiny slivers actually make it to where they are supposed to go, since I can see them better than tiny pieces in her mouth.
