I don't remember the exact # but AMPS was about 260 so I stuck with a "fat" .8

Good news is Callie, Thumper's Hyper T sister ate this morning. I couldn't deal with another problem right now!

Wendy, if you read this I asked about assist feeding on my post from last night, go check it out if you get a chance.

So I shot a "fat" .8 this morning & she was 264. Tonight she is 270, I'm not sure what to shoot...I think my "fat" .8 is probably pretty close to .9 but Wed. when I shot 1 Unit into a 419 she was down to 152 at +4...but that was the day she went to the vet. I was wondering if I shot 1U into this 270 would it be too much???

I went ahead & shot 1 unit...I'll be home tonight so we'll see what happens!
 
I think I'd go with the fat .8u or .9u whatever since your PS's were similar, that's a good place to be. So now up a bit to see if you can get her PS's to come down a little more. I think I'd wait until daytime to try another 1u so you will be around to test through it, It has seemed to be a bit high before.

I was kinda afraid of the 1 Unit but did it anyway. I will be home tonight but have some things I need to do tomorrow & won't be home tomorrow night till possibly +4. I'd rather take the chance of having to stay up tonight. We will know in a few hours!

Callie woke me up at 5 this morning wanting food...and she was back in her spot while I got dinner ready tonight. Guess we have days we just don't want to eat.
 
Heat has been bad here too, it messes with their eating, not eating much some hot days, then hungry the next.
Good vibes comin’ your way on the extra insulin. Hopefully its the boost you want.

Glad I went ahead with the 1 unit, of course lots of times she keeps on dropping after the +6 so who knows. She's having a snack right now so I'm not staying up to test her. Got a busy day tomorrow so I hope she doesn't throw a curve ball at me in the morning!
