Throwing up?

Taz has thrown up a little bit of clear fluid 3 times (that I know of) this past week. He acts normal before, and after, just really hungry. It happens before it's time for him to eat.

He gets a half of can of food at insulin time, and has one eighth of a can at +3 and +4.5. I'm afraid the smaller portions aren't satisfying him long enough because before being diagnosed, he was fed a half of a can every 8 hours. He doesn't act ravenous, like my brother's diabetic cat did, just like he really wants to eat.

Anyone else go through this?

After being on lantus for a lil while, Ares does better with food ever 1 to 2 hours during the day. After nadir mostly 2 hour bouts and smaller portions. Maybe that will help. Did u ever get the auto feeder from chewy? It has 5 slots so u cud set 4 feedings.
And for night, Ares will be fed up til sleep then i set 3 settings on autofeeder for night time feedings. I do a normal feed at +7.5 and then a small portion at +9.5, and the 3rd is to close it up to ensure he fasts for at least 2 hrs before AMPS

I go through this with Magic every once in awhile. I've figured out that he has to have a snack of some sort around 3hrs before his shot times or his tummy will get all upset.

I'll give him a teaspoon or so of food or 2-3 treats and then he's fine.

Peep vomits morning 1-2 hours before his morning feeding. It's clear liquid. Like three times per week. I even tried getting up in the middle of night to give him a snack and really hasn't helped a lot. Still working on it.

Thank you everyone. Taz won't see his vet until Tuesday, but I'll bre sure to bring it up. I did read online after posting here, that it's common in cats that are hungry or who skipped a meal. They called it kitty indigestion. Apparently the built up tummy acid irritates the tummy lining and causes it. I've noticed him doing it in the past when we got home later than normal and he had to go longer without food. I just never noticed it so often before.

Yes, I was able to get an autofeeder. It's a godsend for in the middle of the night and when I'm at work. Taz just doesn't realize that when it rotates, that means food yet. So a lot of times, he misses a snack and I have to add it to his next one.

Thank you. I'm pretty sure the pancreatitis is almost completely gone now. Every once in a while he will lay down kind of carefully, but for the most part he's active and back to wanting/eating his food. :)
