So our vet said to feed 3 of the small cans of wet cat food a day. Well I did that and she was throwing up early this morning around 3:30am. Ended up needing to give her some more food to stop her from throwing up. What would be the recommended amount to feed a diabetic cat?

ECID. A good rule of thumb is 20 times ideal weight to get the daily calorie intake your cat should be getting. If she’s unregulated and lost weight and needs to gain, I’d add 20-50% to that number. 3 cans of FF are probably about 220-250 calories right? You can look at the back of the can for the calorie info

If you don’t know her ideal weight, ask your vet as he/she should be able to tell you that based on her body proportions
