Caryl's Alex - Caryl is saying goodbye to Alex tonight @ 8:30 pm ET. As you know, Alex essentially stopped eating and Caryl has been assist feeding him. She has tried everything possible to get him to eat, but he just doesn't want to. Alex is going to take his journey and be with his brother Jackson. Caryl is brokenhearted and could use our thoughts and prayers as she says goodbye to a wonderful 16 year old boy.

Let's help Caryl say goodbye to dear Alex.

Fly free sweet boy, may you soar high and wide. Soon you will be with your brother again, free of pain and with a body that works. Please make sure that you and Jackson visit your mama bean and send her a sign that you both are happy and carefree.

(((((Caryl))))) I am so sorry. It is so hard to let them go but you tried everything. Alex had a great life with you and Jackson. Safe travels, Alex. Give our best to your brother and all the other kitties at the bridge. We sure do miss them.

Caryl, when someone connects to your heart like Alex and Jackson did with you, not being able to help them is true agony. You have experienced enough of that for a lifetime lately. Alex knows you did everything you could. You loved those boys so much, and I have no doubt that they will communicate with you in some way when they are reunited at the Bridge, and meet all of our other precious angels. I *know* how much you miss them, but try to visualize what an amazing group is waiting for them there. That gives me a little bit of comfort when I miss my babies. They are not with me, but they are not alone.

So very sorry Alex is making his journey. Also those wonderful years and times make it so hard to let go. But they remain with us forever even we can no longer touch them. May Alex touch your heart with a sign or visit soon. (((((Caryl)))))

I'm so sorry to hear that it's time to say goodbye to Alex. You were such a wonderful encouragement to us when Angie and I first started home testing. I know that you've given him so much love and he will be with you always.

Alex, I hope your passing is gentle and you land softly in a better place, free from sickness.

Caryl I know you are heartbroken. I'm so very sorry about Alex. Even though he is no longer struggling, I'm sure you are feeling an immense amount of pain. Love really hurts sometimes and your love was strong. It's no comfort right now but I hope in the future you will see that you truly helped Alex by letting him go. The hardest decision ever.

(((((Caryl))))) This is the hardest thing ....the having to say goodbye. I am so sorry for your loss...and for that decision you had to make Caryl. But it is with love that we let them go....sending hugs and deepest condolences to you....
 
Thank you everyone,Hillary for posting this. Yes, Cheryl I did have it bookmarked since we discussed it that night but I can't read it now. Thank you. Thank you for the nice comments and the candles. I am devastated. Both of my babies are gone. Weird, I didn't think it could get harder than it was with Jackson. It's harder.
