I had sent Deborah a message months ago....
Where had she gone?

apparently things have been going downhill for Shasta...

She replied to me yesterday.
I was just replying to her today and I just looked at her spreadsheet.
it says Goodbye....

I told her to come share her grief with us....
@Deborah & Shasta
so many of us know what she's feeling and we can cry with her..
I hope she will come.

I am so sorry for her loss:cat::rb_icon:

I am so very very sorry you had to say until we meet again as you helped Shasta cross :rb_icon:today. I know your heart is breaking, and there are really no words remotely adequate to comfort at a time like this. Sending gentle vines:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
Land softly Shasta, your special bell will add to the shimmer and melody of the bridge:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Dear (((Deborah))), Your girl is smiling down on you tonight as she takes her place in the Celestial Chorus. I'm sorry it was Shasta's time to begin her new adventure, be we know that she is safe and loved at the Bridge, where she has many old friends.
Fly free, dear Shasta cat_wings>o. You are much loved and will be missed.

In loving remembrance,

Ella & Edward, Rusty, and Stu (GA)

Thank you, all, for your kind words. It has been a little over 3 months since I said goodbye to my bestie, Shasta. I had just gotten to the point that I could talk about her and think about her without crying...until just now. I thought, for certain, I could get on this board and not lose it...wrong...crying like a big baby. :arghh: I still have not written a "formal" post for Shasta here on FDMB, but I promise I will soon. I just wanted to say thank you for the kind words.

Thank you @rhiannon and shadow (GA) for relaying the message. I miss my Shasta on a daily basis. :rb_icon:

I'm so sorry. I said goodby to Max October 10th and haven't been able to write a tribute. I miss him so much too. I hope all the soul kitties lost here are romping together at the bridge. :bighug:

There is no deadline for grief. You take all the time you need. We all understand, and will be here for you when you need us. Many prayers for peace and strength, and loving vines to help knit your broken heart back together. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Deborah, I am so sorry. I hope your heart will be at peace soon knowing you did everything you could and loved your kitty so dearly and she loved you back just the same. She has gone to the rainbow bridge and will be waiting for you. For now, she's playing with all the kitties and is happy, pain free, and healthy. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

It's ok, crying...it's good to remember:bighug::bighug::bighug: I lost Gussie 2/2 and it still seems too surreal to be true..crying helps me..and so does smiling and starting to laugh with some of the memories....
I hope for you that it is becoming easier to smile at the memories of Shasta with each day that comes:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
There is no timetable for this grief stuff, I've found it is like floating on the surface of the ocean..at times the memories are peaceful and lulling and comforting, other times it's like a sudden wave pitches me off that lazy air mattress into churning seas that leave me scrambling for that float trying to grab a breath...
Hoping for gentle seas for you:bighug::bighug::bighug:
