Now here's something you wouldn't do with ProZinc: shoot on a green PS. I'm slowly building my nerve doing this because it's a *good* thing to do with the L insulins. The lower the PS, the smaller the drop and there's evidence of this on Teasel's SS. It's still stressful, especially with an unpredictable cat, but I'm learning how to handle it.

Wow...that is really different. I'm still scared to shoot anything below 200! (not that we've needed to yet). So great that Teasel earned a reduction! Hooray!

Wow! That requires a whole new mindset, doesn't it?

I'm glad to see you two are making progress on it! Fingers crossed Lantus gets your boy off his trampoline ;)

Hi Ernie's Mom! SS is spreadsheet and PS is pre-shot. So shooting a green PS means shooting a blood glucose number that is green on the spreadsheet. On a human meter that's a number between 50-99, on the Alphatrak, I think it's 68-99.

Dang! That's an...interesting preshot number. He is getting more colors on his SS now that he's on Lantus...it's nice to see!

I think he's liking Lantus :)

So great to see him in those nice numbers - even if he did react in typical Teasel fashion with the horrible AMPS ;)
