In my house, my husband and I are at an impass on feeding Caesar tuna. Caesar LOVES tuna and use to get small amounts as a treat. Since his diagnosis, I have been doing everything "by the books" and he has not had tuna. I think that he needs the vitamins and minerals from actual cat food and I have found low carb wet food that he likes. My husband thinks that because Caesar likes tuna so much that he should have it. Do any of you feed your diabetic cat tuna? Is it okay every once in a while or mixed in with wet food? Who's right here?!
By the way, I am going to set up a spreadsheet this weekend! I'll finally have time
