Nicole and Napoleon

Very Active Member
My Napoleon was diagnosed with Diabetes right after his 5th birthday and 2 days before Christmas. It was one of the scariest, most sad days for me as I had lost my very first cat to Diabetes in February of 2009 at the young age of 12. As soon as he was diagnosed I got online and researched as much as I could, from food to insulin - the works. Felinediabetes.com and this message board has been a Godsend for both of us. You have all given me hope and such valuable information during a very, very rough time. Thankfully after switching Napoleon to a Fancy Feast only diet ( He was dry food fed with wet supplemented only as a treat and I think the dry food caused his Diabetes in the first place!) he is on his way to regulation with PZI - 1 unit BID starting tomorrow after some low and high dips on SID. I just want all of you to know how very grateful I am to have this resource as a source of information, support and hope. Hugs to all of you and sweet kitties :YMHUG:
