In 2016 my cat Raquel was diagnosed with diabetes. With your help I was able to get her into remission (changed from dry food to Fancy Feast chicken classic pate).

I had to euthanize her this week because she had a brain tumor and the phenobarbital and prednisolone were no longer giving her a good quality of life at 18. I just wanted to thank this forum for giving me so many more happy years with her. I was so freaked out and panicked and you all got me under control and gave me a plan to follow. I can't tell you how valuable you all are. Thank you again for doing so much good.
 
So so sorry for your loss. :bighug: Cherish those extra years you had with her, and I would definitely be feeling smug about her getting into remission as well!

18! That is a testament to your love and care giving. I'm sorry it has come to an end but MAN 18 years... I'd give anything to have that length of time with my, Shoshone, my Poncho, my Trouble, and my Waldo.

While it hurts because you have been together for SO long, its this kind of love and devotion that will see you through your grief.

Fly high and proud Raquel you have earned your wings of glory. Come back and let your mommy know you havent forgotten her and will wait patiently. :rb_icon:cat_wings>o:rb_icon:
