My Bast and I have been doing the Lantus tango for under 2 weeks. He is throwing me curve balls and I have to learn quickly. I would never have made it through the night last night without the help of the wonderful people here. Several people took turns talking to me and keeping me awake in a major sleep deprived state. The way the "advisers" watch over and take over for each other is amazing.

I just had a look at your recent posts and see that you had quite a traumatic event.... :shock: I do hope you and Bast are OK now?

This board truly is an amazing place. People come here frightened and confused. Others who are further along the path offer help. Fear and confusion dissipates. People learn and adapt. Cats get healthier. knowledge and experience grows...

I am confident that just a little while from now YOU will be one of those offering help to people who are frightened and confused. And so the circle will turn....

We are doing better this morning- or should I say I am- LOL He doesn't notice any of this. When he is at his lowest numbers he is chasing catnip mice or moths. confused_cat
I can't believe it has not been 2 weeks yet (monday will be 2 weeks) and he has had several low number scares and 2 reductions.
Mommy needs chocolate! ( but will settle for a bannana)

I just realized had i followed my vet and did NO testing and just gave 1u twice a day..... I would not have my furry friend sleeping on me right now. Of course he said to fed dry science diet also.....
