Today I lost Simke, he had gained almost another kilo in 6 days of fluid, they think he had right sided heart failure. At the moment I feel ill with grief, but I wanted to take the time to tell you all how much I help and support you have given me in our feline diabetes journey and I am sure we were winning the battle with feline diabeties, but obviously he had some other problems, Again thank you so much for all you support. x0x0x

Thank you again for all your kind words, if there was one good thing about this journey, it was meeting all the people on this board. I have never really been involved in an online group and amazed at the kindness, support and generosity I have received. You are all in my thoughts and although I didn't win the battle, I know that your help gave us a fighting chance and for that I am forever grateful.

Hurting but less acute,
still missing my morning and evening kitty snuggles, but appreciating all the great times we had together and our bonding during his diabetes journey.
