Never in my life have I ever said the words “Thank you”, to anyone, and meant them more than I do when I say them to the people on this board! You were there for me when I was overwhelmed and hysterical. You’ve held my hand every step of the way. You’ve humored me when I have asked stupid questions and even when I asked the same questions, over and over again. You’ve encouraged me when I needed a boost. You cheered me on when things were going well. Haley and I couldn’t have done this without each and every one of you. I thank you all, from the very, very bottom of my heart for everything that you’ve done for Haley and myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping me keep my baby girl healthy. I will never, ever forget the impact that you all have made. I pray that we won’t have to take this journey again. I’m going to do everything that I can to keep my girl healthy. I owe it all to you all. I pray that all of your sugar babies also go into remission and stay there or get cured.
We all know how precious our sugar babies are to us. We’ve been overwhelmed and heartbroken by this horrible disease. I was a mess. I was, as many of you were, when your sugar baby’s diabetic journey began. I was scared stiff not knowing what to expect. Scared stiff that something horrible would happen to Haley. That will always be in the back of my mind. You’ve been giving me more confidence to take care of her, properly. I was a slow learner at first. Thank you all for your patience with me. You are the most kind and generous people I’ve ever met in my life. I will never, ever be able to thank you all enough for helping me and my beautiful little girl.
Again, thank you, thank you, thank you!
Much love,
Shirley and Haley
