I wanted to let you all know about a little secret I found out yesterday. I have VPI (pet insurance) and I asked if they covered test strips - they said as long as the vet writes an RX (prescription), then they would. I haven't found out how much they'll pay yet - but this isn't the exciting part. I previously bought the Freedom Freestyle Lite Strips 50 count without an RX for $86 at CVS. This time around, I had them fill the prescription the vet wrote - they were able to put in a coupon code (I think from the manufacturer) and it only cost me $30!! They said this was good for the whole year. I'm not sure if this is just for this brand or more wide, but it's definitely worth trying it out. That is such a huge savings - just for having the vet write a prescription.

That's a great deal. Did you know that the Relion Prime has 50 test strips for $9.00?
