Test Strips Question

Hello to all. It has been quite some time since Sumo and I have posted on the board. Sumo continues to be a loving and entertaining Cat for our family! He was hoping to OTJ by now, but remains hopeful that it will someday happen! He still jumps on my lap for his pokies, and puurs loudly when he hears me open his Fancy Feast Classic. I am sure my question on test strips has been a topic of conversation previously on the board, (which unfortunately I missed) But I was hoping someone can respond to the increase in price on the Arkray Glucocard 01 sensor blood strips on ADW site. I have been purchasing these for quite some time for my Relion Mini meter but have now noticed they are now longer selling them in the 5 pack and have gone up to $19 per 50 strips. Can anyone recommend a replacement strip that might be less expensive? Or perhaps I should be looking at purchasing a new meter? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I use the same meter and test strips as you, @Mary and Sumo and although I also noticed the price has gone up at least it is not as much as the AlphaTrax2 strips which I recently stopped using. Sorry I don't have any other suggestions to bring the costs down....

Yeah we're all pretty bummed about the price increase at ADW and it just happened within the last week or so. A lot of us are calling to complain too!

Their "buy 4, get 1 free" boxes of 50 were the best deal and they've discontinued them

It's now cheaper to buy the Relion strips from WalMart
