Sienne - I agree. They did do a cytocentesis. Our vet always does with Tarragon. Something fell through the cracks there. I check for ketones once a week when he is feeling fine and had actually checked on Sunday with a negative.

I am so glad there is a plan for Tarragon and that he is (hopefully) on the road to recovery. You will both continue to be in my thoughts. He sounds like an amazing kitty and I know you love him so much. The image of you rocking him and reading well wishes to him brings tears to my eyes. Be well, Tarragon!

I'm still continuing my prayers and positive thoughts for little Tarragon. The bloodwork and tests sound good. I'm not 100% positive, but it sounds like he may have caught a bug, or something. Wishing and praying for him to make a full and speedy recovery.
