Nothing new to report, still having mainly 200's all the time on 3.75u twice day. hopefully will get some questions answered on Friday about her need to pee on tile everywhere, I have begun mopping daily, thank heaven CPAP Machine is giving me some good sleep and I am not falling asleep all throughout the day, so I have energy to do this, but is getting very old, and I spray enzyme spray on it and she goes right to it and pees anyway, Going to also ask about a few thoughts I have on insulin, I wait to say what it is until I hear how loud the vet yells at me about it. In any event Shaak is getting her shots and I am doing more than four BG's every 24 hours. However, I should probably ask if someone could show me how to add dates easier to my SS as I am way way behind because I got tired of trying to enter dates, I was doing it like ten days at a time and I am just always busy doing something and I want to be able to just get it set up for whole year and quit messing around with it. Then I can update easier and get SS back on track.

On a funny note I found a sale at PetCo on PureBites Duck Liver freeze dried treats, half off, so I bought a couple bags, well, first bag I opened and Shaak went so crazy for them she snuck the bag off my bedside table and was proceeding to eat her way through it when I found her and the bag in living room. So, I stuffed the bag in my zippered makeup bag for the night. I so wish I had been awake enough with a camera ready, about an hour later I woke up to Shaak dragging the zippered bag across the bed to get it to a better place to attempt to break into it! I never laughed so hard upon waking up instantly in all my life. She may have issues, but she is a very determined little cuss.

Lol, I can see her doing that in my mind. I have a treat thief, too, she doesn't care what they are, she just knows they're yummy treats and she wants to eat them all! I have tried storing them in all sorts of containers, in all sorts of places, and somehow she manages to figure out how to steal them, and of course eat them all! My latest solution is a large tapestry bag with a zippered top, inside of which are two metal tins, with snug lids, inside which the treats rest. She has managed to get the bag a couple of times (she has destroyed lighter-weight bags trying to get to what's inside them) but hasn't managed to claw and chew her way into it yet. It's a scream watching her try to drag it away, she's a tiny little 6 pound kitty, and the bag is about three times her size! But her determination is so much bigger than that bag...:joyful:

I had to cancel Shaak's appointment due to Kirby having an emergency of choking. She had not had an episode for the last two years and now suddenly she is choking quite frequently, having to take her to stomach Dr and allergy Dr. Hopefully have her back on track soon. I am rescheduling Shaak for Tuesday. The is never an end to all the drama. I finally have the money to take Shaak in and something else happens to deter the appointment. Please pray for us.

Still snowing a blizzard here. We have been back and forth to ICU for my mother-in-law for last two days, had to cancel another vet appointment. I am getting so frustrated. Don't know if my mother-in-law will be okay or not, but I came home to check Shaak's blood and give a shot. four shots ago I thought I gave a fur shot, however I know the last three shots have not been fur shots, I put needle in make sure needle is in, push plunger down, hold it for a count of 10 and when I pull out needle insulin is leaking out of injection site. I have heard this is caused from lumps, problem is Shaak won't stand for a shot anywhere but scruff area. I need way off weird thoughts on things I can try to get Shaak to accept a shot on her flank or somewhere. I have tried without success many times in last six months and she is never willing. I will try anything.
