He's bringing it down some and he is nadiring late. That is how Bubba used to be. The nice thing about nadiring at the beginning and end of each cycle is that you can shoot lower numbers with more confidence. That and testing a lot should give Nana some more BOS. ;) You know what to do when the numbers start dropping. You are in control Cindy. :)

Come on Taco, come back to the lagoon.

I don't know what this guy is doing, SO frustrating :banghead: For some reason he's got to get those pinks in there ,WHY??

It's not unusual for them to go up and down the dose scale.....it's just all part of the sugardance…..but yes, it can be terribly frustrating!!!

How old is his insulin? (just wondering because I didn't see any notation on your spreadsheet but I may have missed it)

The one we're using right now , which is almost empty is from 9/18. And I just picked up a brand new pen on 10/29. The one were still using has about 4 more doses or so, we usually pull out an additional 1 U, to get bubbles out and get it right, with 3 set of eyes checking it. Last time I threw one out with about 20 doses left. His pen notations are on the left with the date block. This new one will be pen #3. You think I should ditch pen #2.It still has quite a strong odor to it.But, who knows :(

No, it should still be OK....that's only 6 weeks
It's like his PM meal was 1 carb and 3hours later he throws a 352 :( Also we're trying to cut back on his food intake, because he's not active at all, and if you look at his SS, all the food he had today were done so his tests werent food influenced, at least 2 hours before tests. This is driving me to the nut house ;)

You're in good company!!

It's possible that this is a bounce...124 isn't that low, but if his liver perceives it as too low, he can still bounce.

Hang in there, have a stiff drink and get some sleep.....as long as he's this high, at least you'll be able to get a good night's sleep without worrying!

I slept all day, so I'll be up till AM . We do shifts in our home because of our son, he's had sleep problems since he was born, 42, years ago, he has a multiple seizure disorder and it's like his brain doesnt shut off because of seizures, so ,I have night shift. Taco in all reality gets 24/7 care because of it. Sounds cruel, but, I'll take seizures over this diabetes train any day, I'm so used to it. There's days where you wont see me here , maybe every 10 days when I crash and burn, and sleep for about 18 hours straight, just a way of life here :) I can't drink, so that's out . I'm 22 years sober :) I don't think my family wants to go through that again and neither do I ;) I wouldnt be able to take care of these humans and critters.

Good for you!! That's one of the toughest fights any of us can go through so you deserve to be proud of that!!

Crazy to say, but you'll get used to this too....It's probably hard to remember how you truly felt when you were first dealing with the seizures, but I'm betting you were feeling a lot like you do now.

The hard part for all of us is to accept the fact that we're not in control in any meaningful way....The cat leads the dance.....all we can do is follow.

Oh, I don't forget, I was only 21, and had never experienced that in our family, 200-300 seizures a day for years, but after 42 years it's like I grew another limb ;) This diabetes comes late in my life at 63, and who wants to really learn about another horrible medical condition, but, I do anything and everything I can for these "kids" and thankful I can. Some people arent so fortunate :( Yes! both my kids and furries own me and lead the dance, the only thing is I don't dance well and trip over mu own feet a lot of times. Thank you for the encouraging words.:bighug:
