Anyone using Carepoint Vet Syringes? I have just ordered a box of the U-40 29g x 3/10cc 1/2” w/ half unit markings. Should have asked first however would like opinions anyway.
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the quick response. I had ordered through Total Diabetes Supply out of I think Baton Rouge Fl for 12.99 for a box of 100 and having my daughter ship them to me. Initially was told she could not ship but after checking through the postal system found that she could. Yes, I certainly need the 1/2 unit markings which I currently do not have.I use them and I love them! Around $15 with shipping through ADW! Great deal and the half unit marking is nice to have!
Hi -my january order of u100 carepoint vet syringes from adw were defective, so be sure to make sure unit markings are correctly positioned. on mines (checked 5 of them) the plunger went down to last half mark instead of end/zero line which was under plastic piece inside that stops plunger..
Thanks for taking time out to provide me those pictures. Pretty obvious difference in regards to the marking boldness. I’ll give them a try since they are on the way. I could not find the 1/2 unit markings for the Ulticare from the company I used although they did have the whole unit markings.Hi. I use UltiCare syringes. I ordered a box of the CarePoint Vet ones to try, but when I saw them, I decided to order more of the UltiCare instead. I do not like the way the markings are on them. There is a vertical line between the whole units (which I do not get the point of), and the horizontal half-unit line is very short. Also, the numbers are not as bold/dark as on the UltiCare ones. In all fairness, I have not even tried using them at this point. I did not bother returning them, so I just have them as an emergency backup. Here are a couple of photos comparing the two. CarePoint Vet is on the right.

(From the angle these were taken, CarePoint was closer to camera, so it may appear slightly larger, but both syringes are the exact same size.)
