What are the best 1/2unit syringes for Lantus and wheredobyou buy them? I am new to this and Max is getting .5 and unit but I was told here it is better to give .75. It is hard to measure!

I'm a newbie too :smile:. I found drawing up the right dose to be difficult too without the half mark on the syringe.

Many of us use Terumo U100 syringes that are in half unit increments. I purchase mine from American Diabetes Wholesale.

Depending on where you live, your vet may need to fax an order for syringes to ADW. They will keep the order for future purchases.
