? Syringes and markings, concern

I'll try to explain it the best I can. I use 2 different kinds on syringes at the moment, one, TRUE PLUS with only full units, then, I have an abundance of BD with 1/2 units, for when I have to do .25s or .50s. Tonite I was "inspecting" my syringes and the BD with 1/2 marks has the plunger going all the way up, BELOW the 0 mark ,by at least a .25.
SO, when he got his 2.25 a few days ago, was he really getting a 2.50? This concerns me, as Taco is VERY dose sensitive.
Now that I'm using the TRUE PLUS, he's getting a true 2.0, because he got a .25 reduction, which means, DID he REALLY get a .50 reduction?
This is driving me crazy and I don't think I can get the TRUE PLUS with 1/2 markings.
The 3 boxes of BD I have are supposed to be all the same, BUT, They are not, the lines change from box to box .
Suggestions, Please, and anyone using 1 brand , with 1/2 marks that feels are consistant?

I used the BD syringes, that's pretty much all that's available in Canada. And yes, the zero line isn't consistent. The last several months, Neko's dose was under the zero line. Good luck with the new syringes.

You already ordered. For future reference I like the monoject. They are consistent.
I was looking at those too, and couldnt decide :( So I ordered what I thought I could stick to, hopefully all packages are the same. If not, I think I'll cry ,lol, I've got over 800 syringes in this house between my U40s and the U100s. I'm really desappointed with the BDs especially when I decided to open up a package from each 3 boxes I have and none are the same, starting to wonder about his increases and decreases. I've been using those for well over 1 year :(

The way I saw it tonite on the BDs is that over the 0 line could be counted as a .25 or more on mine :( Maybe I should just keep them, if he ever gets to .25, because that's what it looks like to 3 people in our home.

Yep, that is why I use calipers. But, I would suggest to use one of those syringes until gone before going to the next brand.

You can't count on them all being at the .25 line. That is why you should get some calipers. All of us experience the inaccuracy of the markings on the syringes, no matter what brand. It is maddening. As you can see, what if you are giving .50 and you go by the lines and the zero line is off and really at .25. Then you would be giving .75 of a unit. AND you can't count on that same markings on the next syringe.
