Sybil’s blue PMPS - not sure what to do now

And I would go ahead and reduce her to .75 because … well she seems to want a lower dose, and you are using the AT, and you perhaps have another hurricane coming (I pray not.). We will soon know if it’s not enough for her and can always go back to the previous dose. If she starts getting lower and lower in numbers, we may need to talk about a custom reduction number for her, in order to help her stay more in greens. For now, her new dose starting tomorrow is .75. :bighug:

Yay thanks! I haven’t changed any food. I’m keeping that consistent so I can see what effect the insulin changes are having.
This hurricane is coming ugh. I bought a bunch of extra food and supplies for the cats after reading the sad stories here. Trying to be prepared.

OK 0.75 units it is! Thank you and enjoy your day.

Do you think it will reach down as far as West Palm? I have family there.
Well right now it looks like it’s going to be barreling in towards the Tampa area. We should know more later today. There will be likely flooding and effects on both coasts but right now it looks like it’s going to go through the center of state. I would expect rain and wind for most of the state. Most of the models are showing north of that West Palm area but I’m sure there will be tropical storm like effects all over.

Also, once it does hit land, it could slow down or lower in intensity.

At a minimum, I would urge everyone to have some backup water and non-perishable food and fill the car with gas (and any needed pet items).
It’s still too early to see where the direct path is going to be. If I were on the gulf side near Tampa, I would evacuate.

We are going to have a lot of evacuees coming into Georgia (like we did with Irma in 2017). It’s a category 5 now but they are projecting it to weaken to a 3 by the time it makes landfall. Still, it will be the water that’s a huge problem. I hope you will have minimal impact.

She’s doing well and I hope you are too! She really went up from that Churu. I looked yesterday and saw it. I don’t think a drop to 101 warrants giving a Chiru to bring her numbers up though. It’s good to know how she responds to it though.

Hi thanks for chiming in. I didn’t give her a Churu to bring her numbers up. I agree she is doing ok. Things are very stressful from the hurricane anyway but we are hanging in there. Hope you are ok.
