I'm switching Bama's food and I am wondering if I should transition her to a single new food then add additional varieties. The other option I am considering is rotating through the remaining 6 different cans of food I got for her to try just to see what she is willing to eat before transitioning. I don't want to feed her only one brand/flavor because she has randomly stopped eating certain flavors of the same brand before. I am currently giving her a small amount of a new food at mouse temperature then I put down her regular food a few minutes later. She usually doesn't even recognize the new food as "food" and if I try to entice her with FortiFlora she just eats the FortiFlora off of the food and doesn't touch the rest!
I'm currently feeding FF Classics chicken & liver and beef & liver but I want to switch to a food with lower phosphorus. The current (and only) winner is Weruva Glam 'n Punk (lamb & duck). She was actually excited when I was prepping the new food and started pawing at the cabinets! She also scarfed it down on more than one occasion.
