Switch from Prozinc to Lantus. How much dose to begin ?

Hello,

We are going to switch from Prozinc to Lantus tomorrow morning.
We would like to know how much dose to begin with.
Misso is on 2.9 units Prozinc(=7.25 units with U-100 syringe) and sometimes on 3 units when she got >400 PSBG.
Could we sart on 2.75 units with Lantus ?

Just wanted to clarify that you are using u-100 syringes, so that would be 2.75U on the U-100 syringe. No conversion required from U40 to U100 for Lantus.

Yes, we are using U-100 syringe et continuing TR. I'll do it now for my signature.

I have a question for you. Why are you switching from Prozinc to Lantus? The reason I ask is I feel our cat needs to be switch from Prozinc to Lantus as well and was curious as to your need to make the switch

Good luck with the lantus, I would add to your signature that you are using Lantus now, you can just put Started Lantus and the date ,just so members are aware of it now also can you please add TR also to your signature :cat:
Did you get a PMPS last night on 11-21? It would also be helpful if you can get a another test in after her PMPS reading :cat:
She has such a precious face !
