With the passing of my best friend, I have a lot of supplies and I'd like to give them to someone that can use them. I'd also like to get them out of my house because I'm in a lot of pain and I need to try and remove reminders. I have half a Lantus vial and a Lantus pen, needles of different sizes, a ReliOn micro with strips. I think I may have some zobaline. I live in Palm Springs but I fly for a living and will be in Seattle and Medford a lot for the rest of the month. And I'm happy to ship it for the price of shipping.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I began to read through your other post about guilt, etc, and related so much it was a little hard... Alice's brother passed at only 7 years old from sudden onset FIP (presumably). The guilt there was really rough. And they were bottle babies for me. But you loved your furbaby and treated them with such care. I came across someone on FB saying they were going to euthanize a healthy cat if they couldn't find a home. There are far worse cat parents out there. You did what you had to do and what you could do and we are all limited in one way or another by the resources of time, energy, and money.
And it still feels awful, I know. :( Even when you know all the rational things.

yes, I am -- found a couple of vials for sale on Craigslist -- at a price about same as local pharmacy quoted for a pen (pharm tech said "runs about $100 plus tax") -- that's still a huge budget hit for us, I'm reluctant to trust that these might be legitimately left-over vials and not someone trying to make $ on "fake insulin" -- plus of course a vial is way more that I'd need at the dosage Catcat would start on -- would hate to short anyone who really needed the larger amount too

thought I had a deal going with someone up in Seattle (2-1/2 hour drive away) but turns out she had already sold the Lantus, and now had only her Arkray meter and test strips for sale -- strips which might fit the Prime I first got -- but the Confirm is working far better for Catcat and me
