One hour late is easier to manage than 2 hours early. You would expect a higher number probably, but it's easier to manage than giving an early shot (which acts like a dose increase) when you won't be home to monitor him for the first 3 hours or so of the cycle.

Try not to let Beeber be eating the whole time you are gone, or the food will show up in the BG test at 11am. If you can feed and then pick up the food before walking out the door, then you can avoid that happening.

I had that problem when I was going to school- I would get home later than my shot time- usually by about 2 hours.

I would shoot the 1 hr late rather than 2 early. But then again, PZI is short duration- do you have enough information on Beeber to find out if the insulin is still working at +10 hours or is he usually rising already?

Another thing is to move the shot time later/earlier (in 15 min increments) so you can shoot the most consistent everyday. For me, that turned out to be 5:30/5:30. Don't know what i will do when I go back to school.
