Is .3 vs. .5 microliters needed to test really a concern when it comes to getting enough blood to test with, I have been researching all things "Cat Diabetes" since I found out my Princess has it Friday, and a ton of cat people suggest (and comparison writeups recommend highly) the Relion "Confirm" and I am almost sold, but the test strips for most .3 microliters systems are nearly twice the cost of .5 microliters test strips. Yes its only $12-15 dollars or more a month in test strip consumables, but it all adds up, happy to pay it if its better for my Princess, but hate to if its not really necessary. Probably just depends on how our cats bleed when pricked with the lancet. Wanting to get everything today to get her started on test daily so we both can get comfortable with it. (her first insulin is on order and arriving Tuesday)
