Hi, Colby was diagnosed laat April and I was able to get him into remission a few short weeks later. In January he had a relapse and is back on prozinc. Since then he has had 2 different occasions (they have been months apart) where he suddenly has no appetite, hides all day and then vomits continuously and can't even hold down water. Both times I've taken him to the vet they do the same thing--give him fluids, appetite stimulant and nausea meds and it works every time. I'm wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone and if there is some insight you can share. Is this part of the diabetes or is there a deeper issue? Any info would be so helpful!
Side note: I haven't given him insulin in 24 hours. I've done this before and he's been fine.
