Sue I've been trying to send you a message with account and p/w but it doesn't seem to be going through?????

Don't worry, it went through  Messages sit in the Outbox until it has been read by the recipient. Sue probably hasn't had a chance to read her PMs.

Sue, I think I have filled in all the values I have. I did not start testing until just recently. Vet wants me to test once/week. Okay, so where is the s/s now and how do we get it so everyone can look at it? You are a real jewel for helping with this!

Sue, I bought a new computer and the link to Martha's spreadsheet will not copy to it. Please tell me how to get it on the new computer. Thanks!

Your spreadsheet is online so a new computer makes no difference  The link to your spreadsheet is https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0Ah0YVeaRP1QcdGNmZEpTRG1vdTlRNHAySTRFVkhwWVE&output=html Just add the link to your web browser bookmarks. Click on your spreadsheet link to view it online, then at the top of the web browser toolbar is probably a star icon. Click on that and choose "Add to Favorites" or "Bookmark this page".

Thanks, Squeem,
Sue is on a trip and away from the internet.
Carl

Thanks so much. The link that you sent me is different than the one Sue initially sent and the one I've been using all along. Wonder why?
At any rate, I did as instructed, the problem is, I cannot edit the spreadsheet. Thoughts?

I just copied the link from your signature.

To edit your spreadsheet, you need to log into it. Log in at Gogle Drive with your Google username and password. On the next page, click on the name of your spreadsheet to open it and add in bg numbers. Google automatically saves new edits every few minutse or so. At the top of the page it should say if everything has been saved or in saving is in progress. To log out, in the top right corner of the page is your username. Click on the little arrow and choose Sign Out.

This is the most confusing thing. I didn't have to do anything like this--and still don't on my other computer. I've no idea why I can't access it on this new computer. I'm trying to get everything together on one computer. When will Sue be back?

Sue may be back on the 27th, but have not heard for sure.
If you go into google docs signed in under the same email you used on your old machine, you should have an option on the left of the screen that says something like "owned by me". Your SS should be listed there, and all you should have to do is click on it to get to the one you can edit.
I don't know why it is different on the new pc.
If the pm you sent to Sue is still in your outbox, she hasn't read it yet. When it disappears from there, it'll move to your "sent" folder, that means she's read it. I'm sure she'll check her pm's before anything else once she logs on.
Carl

Edit-
I'm not sure, but maybe you have to logout of your google account on the old computer before you can login and edit on the new one?

How were you able to edit your spreadsheet with the old computer? confused_cat Since the spreadsheet is on Google, you have to log into Google in order to access the edit-only copy of the spreadsheet. Do you have a Google username and password? If not, was Sue editing the spreadsheet for you? Do you kow what Google username and password she used?

When Sue gets back, ask her to transfer full ownership of the spreadsheet to you so you can maintain it.

I do have a Google account with user name and password. I rarely had to log in, though, to edit Martha's spreadsheet. Maybe once a week or so I would. Other than that, I'd just pull it up and start typing. It worked like my yahoo email account or gmail or aol. Kept me logged in.
Sue did not edit anything for me. She set the s/s up and got me going with it. Now I am using my new computer for everything EXCEPT Martha's spreadsheet. Weird.
