Comet's AMPS was 242 and PMPs 224 which is significantly higher than normal. We changed his food to a mix of Friskies and ff from only ff yesterday and I don't know if that could be the reason why. He was doing really well and we are doing a curve tomorrow that I was pretty hopeful for. I know sometimes this can just happen for no reason but is it worth switching him back to just ff or would that not cause a spike like that?

It's totally possible....I'd go back to the FF and see if the numbers come back down. Sometimes there's just one ingredient in a food that can cause trouble if the cat is very sensitive to it
