I am happy to report blood! lol. Finally, was able to get substantial amount (including mine own from an accidental poke on my finger) to get a read. All is good. Thank you to you all for the helpful support, advice suggestions and cheering on. ;) Sinbad is a little angry, but in time we will both get the hang of this. Even his little sister, who sat beside us the entire time, was there to lend her paw in support.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's poked my finger by mistake. Once or twice… or ???
 
Not sure if you were told this yet but put rice in a sock (black is best), tie the end, and throw it in microwave for 30 seconds = super easy to poke ears (you just put it agains the ear to warm it up).
 
Congratulations! It does get easier (and quicker) the more you do it. Give both Sinbad and yourself a treat!

So it appears Sinbad decided to bring me his toy as appreciation to getting better at testing (either that or he is begging for a reprieve). Got to love an interactive kitty. :kiss:
