Hi Everyone,
I am looking for places to purchase setups for SubQ fluids at a cheaper rate than the vet.
This is what I currently get charged --
(1) Lactated Ringer 1 Liter - $12.87
(1) IV Drop Set Regular - $6.04
(10) Needle 18 x 1" -- $0.21 each

Suggestions? Opinions?

Do go with the Terumo needles. Looks for the ultra thin wall needles. Because they are so thin, they flow quicker than other brands. You can order 20g needles. A little easier on the cat.

The best price for fluids is going to a place like Walgreens and ordering a case of 12 bags of fluids
Yu need to give the pharmisist the NDC number of the fluids,

I'm now on the subq regiment with my 18.75 year old (Hunter) who's suffering from CRF. I was just able to get a case (of 12) of the Braun DEHP-free bags at my local Walgreens. The original price was the same $78, but I was able to use my GoodRx card (http://www.goodrx.com) which cut the price to only $31.80 ($2.65/bag)!!! The GoodRx card is free BTW.

The EZ I.V. Harness is a dual strap system that allows your pet to roam free while Sub Q fluids are being administered.
