stupid stupid mistake, accidentally double dosed

eeeek, I just got U-100 needles and made the stupid stupid stupid mistake of accidentally giving her one unit instead of 0.5 units of prozinc. What do I do? I just did it, so I know it won't set in immediately. She's grooming herself like nothing's wrong.

I put out dry food and since she loves it, she immediately chowed down on it. I have plans to go out with some friends for a few hours--if I'm back in 3 hours and leave the dry food out (since high bg is better than super low), will that probably be okay? oy, I know better and should have double checked the conversion sheet before dosing. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Is there anything else I can do right now? double posted here and in the health forum since no one responded over there.
 
If it was me I would cancel my plans.
There is noway I could go out with peace knowing I give Baxter a double dose. Even though you gave dry food it might make her BG drop fast in a couple of hours.

You need to be testing. To make sure she doesn't drop & drop fast.
I don't mean to scare you. I would hate for you to log on with a update that you found your cat unresponsive when you got home. A vet bill like that could run $1000+ or the cats life.

Please keep us updated.
 
Thanks for the advice--I've already canceled my plans. Since some other people have responded on the health board, I'm going to post updates there.
