... to deal with everything going on right now.

I won't be able to visit all the little kitties in their condos much over the next while. I'm not coping with the house move at all, and Saoirse's food supply problems aren't helping her either. I know that the only way out of our current unsatisfactory situation is through, but I'm finding it really tough going. It also rubs my nose in how incapacitated I've become and that's quite distressing. It seems that I can neither accept nor overcome my limitations. Not being able to help myself does not sit well with me. :YMSIGH:

I just wanted to post a note to say that, even though I might not be visiting with everyone for a while, I will be keeping everyone - kitties and beans - in my thoughts and prayers.

(((((((Aine)))))))

Moving it hard even under the best of conditions, I know I was a complete basket case when we moved this last time, I just don't handle change well at all. I'm fine once it is done, but during the process not so much. When you have OCD (or CDO as I like to call it, letters are in the wrong order otherwise). change is difficult, disorder and chaos of a move makes it worse. At least I'm blessed enough to be married to a man that is also OCD just in different areas than I, so we make a pretty darn good team.

Just know that in your absence you will be missed and we will be holding all three of you in our hearts and prayers until you return and we know for sure that you are all 3 nicely nestled in your new home and everyone is doing okay.

Hang in there Hun, remember you are never alone now, and while we might be far from you in physical distance, you are family and as family will do we will be worrying until we know you have safely arrived in your new home. Which by the way is incredibly lovely, I've seen the pictures several times.

I hear you. I am struggling to cope with my diabetic kitty and I am not having to also deal with a house move! You must remember that no-one is superwoman and you are allowed the occasional meltdown. I think that here is a good place to do that ;-) - this seems to be a good support network as well as a forum.

Maybe you need to take your kitties to your new place and have someone else move all your stuff in for you :-) tough going. I hope you have friend support to help you over there.

Where in the UK are you moving? I am a transplant from Scotland to Canada and I miss the UK a lot.

Hang in there....

We will miss you whilst you are gone but please take this time to settle yourself into your new home and make it the place you want to be.. You never know maybe this will be a fresh start for you and Saoirse.

I don't see your limitations. I just see someone with a big heart who wants to help others and to my mind that's a gift and a blessing for all of us.

I hope the move goes as smoothly as possible and that Saoirse's food situations gets sorted out. Take care of yourself. And thank you so much for all your suggestions and advice with Maddy over the past few weeks.

I want to send you best wishes for your house move and I understand about limitations and stress and all of that as I have a chronic illness which causes limitations and so it is understandable you are struggling right now with all that is going on. Hugs to you Aine and pats to Saoirse too.

((((Aine and Saoirse)))) Sending continued prayers, healing and calming vines- for your move and for all you are having to deal with the food crisis and I am hoping Saoirse is doing better and not having a full on pancreatitis attack! Please take care of yourself as well, remember to breathe, take it one breath at a time and eat your fuds-- your health is all important above all else! :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Edited to add:

Amy & Trixie on TR- Trixie went OTJ after her bout with pancreatitis- it was the most unexpected occurance. You said yourself, Saoirse has responded beautifully to Lantus, she could be the next OTJ!

Hi all,

I saw all your lovely messages last night but I couldn't reply because when I read them I bawled my eyes out.

Thank you for being there for my baby and me. We wouldn't be doing anything like as well as we are without you all.

Blessings for all you beans, and scritches for all your fur babies.
