I just opened a new package of Alpha Trak 2 test strips for my meter, and went to check the code on the vial, expecting to be the usual “38”, but when I looked for the code for the Cat, it said “7”. Can this be right? I’ve never had a code # this low before, not sure if I should use it???

Hey, how is Sullivan doing?

He is doing fantastic, thanks! He's been OTJ for 12 days now, and we've only tested him on Day 7, but he had great numbers all day that day and has shown no bad clinical signs (he's even been playing and jumping more than ever the last two days; hoping he doesn't figure out he's physically able now to jump on the kitchen island/counters any time soon :)). We are going to test AM, +6ish, and PM again on Day 14, then watch for signs and test every month after that. Fructosamine scheduled for mid-April.
