I haven't posted for a week or so-my human children have been playing a game of Let's Alternate Who Can Be More Sick! In the end, I won. I still need to post Stinky's story in the remissions area & will try to do that in the next couple of days. For now though, I have a couple of questions:
1.) Hubs accidentally gave Stinky some food w/sauce at last night's late feeding & again for breakfast. When I realized what he'd done, I checked a BG & it was a good 30 pts higher than it has been. It sill only put him at 104, but do I need to be concerned that this is going to cause a problem? Should I monitor his BG for the next day or so until he's back to the 70's? I made sure to give him the lowest carb food we have for lunch & he'll get that again for dinner.
2.) He also seems to be getting a bit of a cold; his eye is "blinky" & his nose is drippy-could that affect his BG?
3.) At what point should I get rid of our bottle of ProZinc? The exp date is 11/2012, but I can't imagine it's actually good that long if we started using it in 10/2011.
