Hello all,
I am working on switching my Kenny over to FF pate, which he is loving. Where I am struggling is with his brother. I tried the Epigen 90 dry cat food, which they both liked for a minute. I mixed in a tiny, and I mean tiny amount to the brother's (Oliver) dry food, and he refused to eat it (for days). I tried to out stubborn him, but I am being defeated badly. Oliver is a large cat and would not eat. He will not eat wet food except for a few licks.
Kenny seems to be progressing but got into his brother's food last night, which negatively impacted him.
Keeping in mind, they were both free feeders a few weeks ago. I don't know where to go from here to keep Kenny out of Olivers's food. Oliver has the best personality. However, if he doesn't get his way, he is the type of cat that gets on the desk and starts knocking off glass stuff at 3 am.
Do you have a list of low-carb dry foods at all? Do you have any tips for keeping diabetic cats out of the other foods? The food situation has been the most stressful part so far.

Right now, we are giving Oliver his food at limited times and trying to pick it up before Kenny gets to it. We just need to figure out the routine yet so we can settle in since they were both used to nibbling all day and night. Most of the eating here went on at night. So trying to get full bellies before bed so we can all sleep without chaos is one of our goals.
