Stiff joints

This probably has more to do with age than it does with diabetes, but Diego is noticeably stiff in the legs upon waking up and walking around. He walks with a different gait and straighter legs with less flexion at the joints, which corrects itself as time passes once he wakes up some more and walks around more.

I have read studies regarding the human intake of glucosamine and chondroitin to correct or lessen the effects of joint pain/arthritis. What they are finding now is that it may not even do anything to help, so I have been hesitant to buy a supplement for him that may not work. What does everyone else do here about stiff cat joints? I would like to do something to help if I can.

adequan injections are amazing--my 2 run around and play and we have 3 flights of stairs....they are 16 and 17
Loading dose is a shot every 4 days for 8 shots then 1 shot a month or as close as 1 shot a week.... we do 1 every Sunday as they are teens:cat:
Can be given SQ or IM--we do SQ
krill oil helps too-as well as essential fatty acids.
