Hi everyone,

Thanks to those of you who helped with Stickabudda over the last 3 years. It's been a crazy ride in the land of Feline Diabetes.

Last night she had total organ failure and passed on :( She actually had super-low BGs due to the impact of other issues going on in her body, so my meter wasn't broken after all. We knew that something serious was wrong so we took her in to the vet. Once they did the bloodwork they knew it would not be long.

I am trying to hold onto the fact that I have learned so much about the disease as a result of her being sick, and hopefully I can use that knowledge to my advantage some day. Most of her 3 years during diagnosis were pretty normal so we are thankful for that as well. Please give your kitties a kiss and a hug and a rub on our behalf :)

Tanya & Ian (and Stickabudda from over the bridge).

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your baby is free now, chasing butterflies, until you meet again.

Fly freeeee little one!

((((((((((((((((((((Tanya)))))))))))))))))))) I am so very sorry for your loss. Stickabudda is flying free now, whole and healthy over the Rainbow Bridge rb_icon
Sending many cyber hugs. wings_cat

Thanks all :) My hubby named her after the sesame street skit where the little kid goes to the store to buy a loaf of bread, a container of milk, and a Stickabudda. lol

I'm so sorry it was time for Stickabudda to leave.....what a wonderful name. My deepest sympathy to you and DH.......they leave such a void in our lives with their passing because of the bond created treating the diabetes.

Thanks everyone!! The void is still there but it is closing :) So hard to do things like throw out the favorite treat bag...I just expect her to come running as soon as I pick it up :( I know she is in a better place now which is a good thing...just hard!!!
