So Steve has put up some really good good numbers both days. I'm convinced that this is because we are getting the infection out of Steve's mouth. It makes me want to kick myself that I didn't insist on this sooner with both the DH and vet. Both Vet and DH are also reluctant to do a dental, this makes me feel even more convinced. FYI: The reasoning for the reluctance is steve is 12yo and diabetic they don't feel great about anesthesia for a cat this age with diabetes. Steve has no other problems besides diabetes and a bad mouth. If we do dental bad mouth will go away and then maybe I can get him OTJ.

Note: Steve puked from antibiotics, right before dose so I gave him smaller dose & left out a lot more food than normal. Then I came home early from work. We got him a new type of antibiotic. His BG was still kind of low at +11 and I wanted to ensure he didn't puke with new antibiotic so I held the dose for 4 hours.
