how long does it take to notice a difference in your kitty's health?
i know every cat is different, but i can tell my cat is in pain...and i want her to feel better and i am anxious about when this would happen.

If she is in pain, she needs something for it. Making her suffer isn't necessary.

Tony gets metronidazole 2x daily and leukeran every 48 hours. No steroids. He has improved dramatically on these two - measureable on his abd ultrasound. The other key to this is to find a food that agrees with the kitty's innards.

My guess is that the cat will start to feel relief after a few doses. The dose is often started high with a "loading dose", then starts to taper down until a lower maintenance dose is arrived at. I would ask for Prednisolone, rather than Prednisone.
