Starting Lantus tomorrow, do I give the Humulin tonight?

Tomorrow morning is the big day! Purrcie will get his first Lantus AM. From previous discussion here it looks like we have decided to go with 1U tomorrow.

He got Humulin this morning. Do I give him Humulin tonight? Would it cause ketones if he doesn't get any insulin tonight?
Or give him his 1.25U of Humulin?
 
yes, go ahead and give the Humulin tonight. There's no reason to skip a shot, Humulin doesn't last 12 hours so it will be gone before the Lantus hits his system anyway.
