Yesterday I dropped her to .1 units of insulin, aka the teeniest amount I can eyeball. So we'll see how it goes today! Stuck her food dish in front of her when I saw the 72 and she chowed down, so I don't expect her to go too low.

Probably? I can't give her nothing or she'll bounce back up. The goal at this point is to get her in green as much of the day as possible before I can try her without any insulin, right? I don't want to do it too fast.

I think you should try 0.1u again before trying the drop dose. You did 2 reductions back to back so you need to let the new depot settle.

OK, I'll do that tonight! Just looked at Rex's spreadsheet--he did the same thing! Dropped off in like 2 weeks. Wow.

You want Starbuck to be in mostly greens before trying an OTJ trial. Good luck!

There is one smaller dose you can try if this proves to be too much. You press the plunger as hard as you can before inserting into the pen. Let go of the plunger and the vacuum sucks up a drop. Sometimes kitties just need a tiny bit more support. Our goal is a long lasting remission.
