STALLING - Need Help

Hello, Sam's pre-shoot BG is 93 only. Yesterday, I lowered his insulin doze from 2 to 1.5 units (Lantus). I am stalling for 20-30 min and hoping someone will advise what to do after I take his BG again then.

It seems we are OK, Sam's BG went up to 215! But that seems to me a huge jump in such a short time. Going to feed him and give him 1.5 unit of Lantus.

One suggestion -- If you get a number that doesn't seem to "fit," re-test. Sometimes the odd number is a bad test or a bad strip. If numbers were rising, it's fine to go ahead and shoot.
