? Squeakys has something wrong with his eye

Maybe the neosoporin got in it?

Should I flush it out with something?

Maybe just wait and see if it clears up?

He is holding it kind of closed. And it looks a bit irritated, nothing dramatic. Also a little fluid in the corner, where it's black.

Any thoughts? Thank you.

I just tried wiping it, he liked that it must be very itchy. Still looks irritated.

I wiped it a couple of times with a clean, damp, warm cloth. He liked that and it seems to be doing better. I also called the vet; she had me send photos.

Awww maybe he just got something in it and fell asleep with it there. That would certainly cause swelling and soreness.

Okay I got busy with an appointment, now the eye looks much better. I like your suggestion, if we have a problem in the future I will post a photo. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow what a good idea. I bet he would like it. We went outside for a while and his eye looked pretty good. I think the stimulation of being outside was very helpful. If he needs it I'll try a warm compress tonight. Thanks much for your great thinking!

I think he just got some of the neosporin in it. Eye is fine now. Thanks everyone for good suggestions, I will remember for the next eye issue (hopefully not).

it's happened several times to my cat. USUALLY it's better by the next day. may have just gotten something in there, or scratched it a bit.
