Hi. He is now off the bupre meds that were making his bgs go wacky. Hope he wont need it again. I have stuck with 2.75u or 2.87u for dosing. He is bouncing after going under 100 into 300s but will come down after a day or two.
Tonight he dropped this AM alot so I gave some 4 carb to slow down the drop n it worked. He stayed the same for most of daytime then dropped at pmps.
Ugg! Why does he do that? I think its because he ate a little less then normal but not sure. Been trying to weigh food lately but once water is mixed in its hard to guess the amount of food eaten without water weight. I have been putting about 0.5oz of water in each meal or so.
So tonight gave 6 carb and normal 2.87u dose.
I am nervous he will still drop but I will test at +2.25 or 9pm.
How do you get a cat to balance more in 100s n only go up to 250 for a high?
Still having trouble with that. I know I had medicine/high bg issues for months now but hope we are back to balancing bg only.
He is carb tender. 4 or more will usually raise him.
Suggestions please.
