I am having difficulty trying to figure out how to customize my spreadsheet i.e.:

if I want to enter a +5.5 figure....how do I enter

+5.5
150

I have noticed that a lot of you have such detailed spreadsheets and I have tried to do this but no luck....

also some have several times/values in one box

I had a 503 PMPS the other evening (yikes) and the BLACK highlight won't work....I tried to color the block myself but the value is hidden

and lastly, how do you write in the REMARKS column throughout the day just adding on without the entire block being deleted every time?

any help for this non-computer wiz would be appreciated

thanks kelly

simply type in all that data and manually color code with the paint bucket icon. Looks like a can , tilted a bit, with something pouring out of the right hand side.

simply type in all the data and it should stack, one on top of the other. If the values overlap the color coded ranges, pick the color that matches the most numbers. You use your paint bucket again to pick the color. Top row of colors should be the ones to pick from.

2 methods 1. You have to use not only the paint bucket icon to select the black color but also change your text color to white. There is a large A to the right of the paint bucket with a little under line for changing the text color.

2. You can paint from another black color coded cell by using the paint brush roller. Click on the cell that has the formatting you want to copy. Click on the paint brush roller. Click on the new cell you want to have that same color.

and lastly, how do you write in the REMARKS column throughout the day just adding on without the entire block being deleted every time?
Move your cursor so it is in the Remarks column. Double click where you want to insert your new text, usually at the end of the last comment. Then start typing your new info. Hit the enter key when you are done.

That should work.

You have to change the font color to white if you want it to show up on the black color. Also, you just use the paint to color in the spreadsheet block when you put a value in other than a whole number. For example
150 @ 5.5 would require you to put in the blue color manually with the paint can at the top of the SS.

As for adding text in the box without it disappearing, you carefully place your cursor at the end of the last sentence entered and type. If it disappears, use the undo arrow and voila! It will come back and you can start over.

Hope this helps!

Good job on the spreadsheet and testing, I would however like to see you over on the tight regulation forum.. You have been on this dose for a while now and we might need to change it.. I am planning on posting on the TR Lantus tomorrow, do you suggest that i:

1. write an entire new detailed intro?

2. copy and paste my original detailed intro?

3. just a quick hello and if anyone is interested they can find original intro? basically just get to the goods....
