I think a better question is - has he finally gotten to a better dose and is catching up to the insulin resistance. At least at this point in time.

Breaking insulin resistance will be greener.

at least he is feeling better now & eating yet with these lower numbers he is wanting less food so it may go down more now.
Gotta go over food amount again, its possible the day total was going a little high by the begging boy & momma caving with the cute face. lol

Ok. Just had a conversation with Annette. Mr. Spot has trained his momma well. His food has been back to 14 oz a day.
This is perfect time to reduce the food intake.
Gonna reduce to 12 oz for next few days & see how he does with his appetite & bg numbers.
If he is good then we can reduce a little more.
That might be enough to get him into greens.
I would think we should know by the weekend.
What do you think?

Is she weighing regularly to see where his weight is going? Neko never had more than 5.5 oz, less when getting raw, to maintain her 14ish lb weight.

No. I dont think so. We weighed him before just with human scale, weighing yourself then picking up the cat & weighing.
Not sure if they have a baby scale or other scale.
My Sprocket used to eat up to 15oz but reduced himself by getting in better numbers. He was 18 lbs then went to 12 when diagnosed then balanced at 14-15lbs. He was part Maine Coon though.
Spot is about 12 lbs.

What Neko ate, was that when regulated or before regulated?

Neko was also part Maine Coon, hence the weight. Her vet didn't want her to go below 13 lbs. I told Neko she wasn'l allowed to go over 15. Neko ate pretty much the same amount all the time. Like I said, a little less volume when on raw which she started a couple months after her FD diagnosis. She was already on LC wet before then. It seemed to satiate her better. So did more smaller meals. I did have to police the other kitty's food bowl though, he was a slower eater.
